Trust & governance FAQ

Answers to the questions donors ask first

Clear, direct information about our legal status, accountability, safeguarding, and field delivery.

Are you a registered nonprofit, and what is your legal status?

Yes. TRINITY VULNERABLE HEARTS CARE INITIATIVE LTD is a registered nonprofit company limited by guarantee, operating under Ugandas legal and regulatory framework.

How do you handle funds, and do any profits go to owners?

We maintain financial records, provide accountability reporting, and reinvest all income into community health programs. No dividends are distributed to members or directors.

How does my support advance your objects in practice?

Donations fund monthly mobile clinics, home-based care, essential medicines, nutrition support, assistive items, and health education for vulnerable children and elderly people.

How do you protect dignity and safeguard people during field work?

Our teams prioritize consent, privacy, respectful communication, and non-discriminatory care. We avoid exploitative storytelling and uphold safeguarding standards in every outreach activity.

Do you work with Village Health Teams and formal referral systems?

Yes. We coordinate with Village Health Teams for community follow-up and use referral pathways to higher-level facilities, including Mulago and Butabika, when specialized care is needed.
